HKCB Finance Limited would like to alert members of the public and its customers of reports of scam calls feigning its employees with requests for personal data and financial information for the purposes of fulfilling the requirements of the prudential measures for property mortgage loans as issued by the regulatory authority. The company wishes to declare that the purported scam calls were not made by any of the company's employees or authorised persons and that the company shall not be held responsibility for any consequences of the scam calls.
The company has reported such cases to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Hong Kong Police Force.
