Terms and Conditions of CNCBI Motion Credit Card(virtual) Mobile Wallet “Up to 5% Cash Rebate” Promotion (the “Promotion”):

  1. The Promotion is valid from 26 July 2019 to 30 July 2019 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
  2. The Promotion applies to Cardmembers (“Cardmember(s)”) of CNCBI Motion Credit Card(virtual) issued by China CITIC Bank International Limited (“the Bank”). Eligible Credit Card refers CNCBI Motion Credit Card(virtual) held by the Cardmembers issued by the Bank (“Eligible Credit Card”). 
  3. Eligible Transactions refer to transactions that are conducted via contactless transaction terminals or via participating apps which accepted Apple Pay or Google Pay as payment, with the Eligible Credit Card during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Transactions”).
  4. Cardmembers will be entitled to up to 5% cash rebate (“Cash Rebate”) for Eligible Transactions conducted with the Eligible Credit Card via Apple Pay or Google Pay during the Promotion Period.  Each Cardmember is entitled to a maximum rebate amount of HK$200 during the Promotion Period.
  5. Cash Rebate includes (i) 0.55% Basic Cash Rebate and (ii) 4.45% Extra Cash Rebate. The Basic Cash Rebate will be calculated on the relevant statement date of the monthly card statement, and be credited to and displayed on Cardmember’s account in the next monthly Card Statement, for related terms and conditions, please refer to https://www.cncbinternational.com/personal/credit-cards/rewards-programs/en/index.jsp. Extra Cash Rebate will be calculated based on the net amount of accumulated Eligible Transactions (as defined in Clause 3 above) of each statement cycle, and be credited to the Eligible Credit Card account within 3 months after the Promotion Period.
  6. Only Eligible Transactions (as defined in Clause 3 above) which entitled to the Bank’s Basic Cash Rebate will be counted towards the Extra Cash Rebate. The maximum amount of the monthly Basic Cash Rebate shall be to multiply the applicable Basic Cash Rebate percentage (currently 0.55%) by i) Cardmember's Credit Limit or ii) first HK$100,000 of basic cash rebate eligible transactions in the month (whichever is lower). For avoidance of doubt, any temporary-credit-limit approved by the Bank will not be entitled to Basic Cash Rebate.   7. Cash Rebate can only be used to offset retail purchase transactions. It cannot be used to settle any outstanding statement balance and also cannot be exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
  8. The total amount of Cash Rebate will be rounded to the two decimal places.
  9. To be eligible for the Cash Rebate, the Eligible Credit Card account must be valid and in good financial standing during the Promotion Period and at the time when the Cash Rebate is given.
  10. Fraud and abuse will result in forfeiture of a Cardmember’s eligibility to participate in this Promotion as well as cancellation of the Cardmember’s credit card(s). The Bank reserves the right to deduct the relevant amount of the Cash Rebate directly from the credit card account without prior notice and / or take legal action in such instances.
  11. Cardmembers must keep all original sales slips or official payment records in respect of the Eligible Transactions. In case of any dispute, the Bank reserves the right at any time during or after this Promotion to request a Cardmember to submit the original sales slips / official payment records and/or such further documents or evidence as may be required for inspection. All related documents submitted to the Bank will be retained by the Bank and will not be returned to the Cardmembers.
  12. The use of any Eligible Credit Card is subject to the relevant CNCBI Cardmember Agreement and relevant terms and conditions of all other applicable prevailing promotions offered by the Bank. For details, please refer to www.cncbinternational.com.
  13. The Bank reserves the right to delete, replace, supplement or amend any of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice, and shall not be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or liabilities incurred. In the event of any matter or dispute arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
  14. Except as otherwise expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, no one other than a party to these Terms and Conditions may enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance, Cap. 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong. Where any clause of these Terms and Conditions entitles any third party to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance, the parties reserve the right to vary that term or any other term of these Terms and Conditions without the consent of that third party.
  15. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and any dispute arising out or in connection therewith shall be referred to the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
  16. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
