Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions of e-Wallet Binding Promotion
  1. Customers will have to fulfill the Terms and Conditions indicated in below sections in order to enjoy the respective offer.
  2. The below offer cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with each other and each customer is only eligible for the offer once only. Customer can only select one of the eligible Stored Valued Facility Operators, namely ‘e-Wallet’, for binding with accounts maintained with China CITIC Bank International Limited (the “Bank”). The Bank has the sole and absolute authority in determining eligible e-Wallets for promotion.
  3. The Bank and these eligible e-Wallets reserve the right to delete, replace, supplement or amend any of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice, and shall not be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or liabilities incurred. In the event of any matter or dispute arising out of or in connection with these offers, the decision of the Bank and these eligible e-Wallets shall be final and conclusive.
  4. Fraud and abuse will result in forfeiture of a customers’ eligibility to participate in these offers as well as cancellation of the accounts.
  5. Except as otherwise expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, no one other than a party to these Terms and Conditions may enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance, Cap. 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong. Where any clause of these Terms and Conditions entitles any third party to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance, the parties reserve the right to vary that term or any other term of these Terms and Conditions without the consent of that third party.
  6. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and any dispute arising out or in connection therewith shall be referred to the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
  7. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Terms and Conditions for CNCBI Deposit Account - AlipayHK Account Binding Reward Offer Promotion
  1. Unless otherwise indicated by the Bank, the promotional period is valid from 15 June 2021 to 31 January 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotional Period”). This AlipayHK Account Binding Reward Offer (“AlipayHK Promotional Offer”) is subject to applicable Terms and Conditions of the Bank, including General Terms and Conditions, Terms and Conditions for Deposit Accounts, Terms and Conditions for Bank Services relating to Faster Payment System, Terms and Conditions for ibanking and Terms and Conditions for inMotion (the “Promotional Terms and Conditions”).
  2. The AlipayHK Promotional Offer is applicable to customers of the Bank who successfully bind AlipayHK mobile application (“AlipayHK App”) Account with eligible same-name HKD Savings or Current Account maintained with the Bank (“Eligible Customer”) for the first time during the Promotional Period.
  3. Five (5) coupons of HK$10 (each a “Coupon” and collectively “Coupons”) will be automatically stored to Eligible Customer’s AlipayHK App Account within three days without prior notice upon successful account binding. The Coupons will be deducted automatically in applicable circumstances.
  4. Each Coupon can be used solely for a transaction with payment amount equal or greater than HK$50 at any merchant or platform (Taobao excluded) accepting AlipayHK via AlipayHK App Account binding with eligible same-name HKD Savings or Current Account maintained with the Bank. Each Coupon is valid for 60 calendar days from the date of redemption. Expired Coupons are invalid and will not be re-issued. Only one (1) coupon may be used in each transaction, depending on the applicable circumstances. Coupons are only applicable in Hong Kong.
  5. Coupons offered under this AlipayHK Promotional Offer are Basic Rewards. The usage priority of coupons is as follows:
    Basic Reward may be used in conjunction with one (1) Priority Reward (including User Special Reward), but Priority Reward shall have priority in usage. If there are more than one Priority Reward in the user’s AlipayHK account, the Priority Reward with the highest value will be used first. In case the Priority Rewards are of the same value, the one with the earliest expiry date will be used. If the expiry dates of the Priority Rewards are the same, the Priority Reward with the earliest redemption date will be used first.
    Where applicable, one (1) Priority Reward may be used in conjunction with one (1) Basic Reward (including welcome rewards and designated merchant e-stamp coupons) or Accumulative Basic Reward(s) (up to ten (10) coupons) (including rewards for referring existing users) in applicable circumstances. If the customer does not have any Accumulative Basic Reward, the Basic Reward with the highest value will be used first. In case the Basic Rewards are of the same value, the one with the earliest expiry date will be used. If the expiry dates of the Basic Rewards are the same, the Basic Reward with the earliest redemption date will be used first. If the customer has both Basic Reward and Accumulative Basic Reward, the priority of using such coupons will be determined by (i) the value of one (1) such Basic Reward (highest value) and (ii) the aggregate value of the Accumulative Basic Reward(s) (up to ten (10) coupons), and the coupon(s) with the highest value between (i) and (ii) will be used first. In case of same value between (i) and (ii), Accumulative Basic Reward(s) (up to ten (10) coupons) will be used.
    The use of different types of coupons are subject to their respective terms and conditions. The actual payment page shall prevail.
  6. Coupons offered under this AlipayHK Promotional Offer cannot be used in sending lucky money or other money transfer (including P2P) on or through AlipayHK App and cannot be transferred or exchanged to cash or other gift. For goods return or refund, the amount on the Coupon will not be returned or the relevant coupon will not be re-issued.
  7. The AlipayHK App must be updated to the latest version. Eligible Customer may view and read the details of each of the Coupons via AlipayHK App. The Bank and AlipayHK shall bear no liability if customers cannot perform a successful redemption of the relevant rewards and/or the relevant reward is lost due to any circumstances.
  8. Each customer is eligible for this AlipayHK Promotional Offer once during the Promotional Period. For the avoidance of doubt, “each Eligible Customer” refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the AlipayHK App and Wallet service, but not merely an AlipayHK App account. To further avoid any dispute, in the following circumstances, the relevant accounts will be deemed to be used by the same customer:
    1. Connection on the same mobile phone or mobile device, such as the logging in or activation of multiple accounts; 
    2. Connection of an AlipayHK App account or mobile number on multiple mobile phones or mobile devices, such as the logging in or activation on such devices; or
    3. The same HKD Savings or Current Account number being connected to multiple AlipayHK App accounts.
    In the case of any of the above, in order to verify the customer’s identity and prevent the risk of theft or misuse of such AlipayHK account, mobile phone number, mobile device or bank account, AlipayHK reserves the right to suspend or terminate the release of any offers to the relevant account and to take legal action.
  9. This AlipayHK Promotional Offer cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with other promotional offers.
  10. In the event of any fraud and/or abuse committed by any person or any breach of these terms and conditions, the Bank and AlipayHK shall have the sole discretion to forfeit his/her eligibility to the AlipayHK Promotional Offer. The Bank and AlipayHK reserve the right to cancel any transaction and/or take legal action to recover losses from relevant persons in such instances. The Bank further reserves the right to deduct the value of any AlipayHK Promotional Offer from any account in which the AlipayHK Promotional Offer is credited without prior notice.
  11. A maximum of 5,000 quotas are available throughout the Promotional Period. AlipayHK Promotional Offers are limited in quantity and on a first-come-first-served basis. The computer record of AlipayHK shall prevail under any circumstances.
  12. The Bank and AlipayHK shall not be liable or construed as providing any guarantee as to the quality and availability of the products and/or services provided by any merchants.
  13. The Bank and AlipayHK have the sole and absolute authority in determining if Customer is eligible for this AlipayHK Promotional Offer.

Terms and Conditions of CNCBI Visa or Mastercard Credit Card - AlipayHK Spending Rewards Offer Promotion
  1. Unless otherwise indicated by China CITIC Bank International Limited (“CNCBI” or the “Bank”), the promotional period is valid from 2 August 2021, 12:00pm (Hong Kong Time) to 31 January 2022, 23:59pm (Hong Kong Time) (both dates inclusive) (“Promotional Period”). This CNCBI Visa or Mastercard Credit Card – AlipayHK Spending Rewards promotional offer (“Promotional Offer”) is subject to applicable Terms and Conditions of the Bank, including General Terms and Conditions, Terms and Conditions for Credit Cards, Terms and Conditions for ibanking and Terms and Conditions for inMotion (the “Promotional Terms and Conditions”).
  2. The Promotional Offer is applicable to cardmembers (“Eligible Cardmembers”) with eligible CNCBI Visa or Mastercard credit card issued by the Bank (except CNCBI Dual Currency Credit Cards) (“Eligible Credit Card”).
  3. During the Promotional Period, Eligible Cardmembers are entitled to receive designated AlipayHK coupon (“Coupon”) upon spending the designated amount from a single eligible transaction via AlipayHK (“AlipayHK”) with Eligible Credit Card every calendar month. Please refer below table for the details:
    1. Eligible Cardmembers who make spending amount of a single eligible transaction of HK$1,500 or above and less than HK$2,500, are eligible to redeem for HK$35 worth of Coupons. The HK$35 worth of Coupons consist of one (1) HK$20 Coupon, and one (1) HK$15 Coupon, which can be used at all platforms or eligible merchant outlets (Taobao excluded) accepting AlipayHK and for bill payment, via Eligible Credit Card in the AlipayHK mobile application (“AlipayHK App”) upon a single net transaction of HK$80 or above after redeeming all applicable rewards and in accordance with Clause 8 below; the monthly quota of HK$35 worth of Coupons is limited to 50 and on a first-come-first-served basis.
    2. Eligible Cardmembers who make spending amount of a single eligible transaction of HK$2,500 or above and less than $4,000, are eligible to redeem for HK$75 worth of Coupons. The HK$75 worth of Coupons consist of three (3) HK$20 Coupons, and one (1) HK$15 Coupon, which can be used at all platforms or eligible merchant outlets (Taobao excluded) accepting AlipayHK and for bill payment, via Eligible Credit Card in the AlipayHK App upon a single net transaction of HK$80 or above after redeeming all applicable rewards and in accordance with Clause 8 below;  the monthly quota of HK$75 worth of Coupons is limited to 200 and on a first-come-first-served basis.
    3. Eligible Cardmembers who make spending amount of a single eligible transaction of HK$4,000 or above and less than $5,000, are eligible to redeem for HK$160 worth of Coupons. The HK$160 worth of Coupons consist of four (4) HK$40 Coupons, which can be used at all platforms or eligible merchant outlets (Taobao excluded) accepting AlipayHK and for bill payment, via Eligible Credit Card in the AlipayHK App upon a single net transaction of HK$80 or above after redeeming all applicable rewards and in accordance with Clause 8 below; the monthly quota of HK$160 worth of Coupons is limited to 150 and on a first-come-first-served basis.
    4. Eligible Cardmembers who make spending amount of a single eligible transaction of HK$5,000 or above are eligible to redeem for HK$250 worth of Coupons. The HK$250 worth of Coupons consist of five (5) HK$50 Coupons, which can be used at all platforms or eligible merchant outlets (Taobao excluded) accepting AlipayHK and for bill payment, via Eligible Credit Card in the AlipayHK App upon a single net transaction of HK$80 or above after redeeming all applicable rewards and in accordance with Clause 8 below; the monthly quota of HK$250 worth of Coupons is limited to 100 and on a first-come-first-served basis.
  4. Each Eligible Cardmember can only redeem once for Coupons corresponding to the spending tier amount for each calendar month during the Promotion Period, and only the first single eligible transaction falls within any of the spending tier as stated in Clause 3 above during such calendar month will be eligible for redemption of Coupons (“Eligible Spending”). Subsequent spending(s) that fall within any of the spending tier (whether higher or lower spending tier) as stated in Clause 3 above in the same calendar month where the Eligible Cardmember has been issued with Coupons would not be eligible for receiving any additional, lower or higher value of the Coupons.
  5. A “single eligible transaction” refers to the final posted net purchase amount made with an Eligible Credit Card at AlipayHK in a single transaction during the Promotional Period (based on transaction date). Retail transaction via AlipayHK includes paying with Eligible Credit Card on the contactless payment terminal or transaction paid via AlipayHK mobile app, but excluding top up transaction, sending lucky money or P2P transaction of AlipayHK.
  6. Quota at AlipayHK are limited in quantity and on a first-come-first-served basis. The computer record of AlipayHK shall prevail under any circumstances.
  7. Coupon will be automatically stored to Eligible Cardmember’s AlipayHK App account within three (3) days upon the Eligible Spending without prior notice. The Coupons will be deducted automatically in applicable circumstances. Each Coupon can be used solely for a transaction at any merchant or platform (Taobao excluded) accepting AlipayHK via AlipayHK App binding with Eligible Credit Card. Each Coupon is valid for 60 calendar days from the date of redemption. Expired Coupons are invalid and will not be re-issued. Coupon is only applicable in Hong Kong.

If the user does not have any Accumulative Basic Rewards, and there are various kinds of Basic Rewards in the user’s account, Platform General Coupons shall have priority in usage, Consumption Vouchers second and Limited Payment Method Coupons shall have last priority. If the user has more than one kind of Basic Reward in its AlipayHK account, the Basic Reward with the highest value will be used first. In case the Basic Rewards are of the same value, the one with the earliest expiry date will be used. If the expiry dates of the Basic Rewards are the same, the Basic Reward with the earliest redemption date will be used first. If the user has both Basic Reward and Accumulative Basic Reward, the priority of using such coupons will be determined by (i) the value of one (1) such Basic Reward (highest value) and (ii) the aggregate value of the Accumulative Basic Reward(s) (up to ten (10) coupons), and the coupon(s) with the highest value between (i) and (ii) will be used first.   9. If an Eligible Cardmember wishes to use the Coupon(s) issued under this Promotional Offer in a transaction, the net amount of the relevant transaction after deducting the amount of all applicable reward(s) and discounts shall not be less than HK$1, otherwise the Coupons(s) are not applicable to be used in such transaction. If an Eligible Cardmember only uses Consumption Vouchers in a transaction, the net amount of the relevant corresponding transaction after deducting the amount on the Consumption Vouchers can be HK$0.
  10. The Bank also reserves the right to delete, replace, supplement or amend the Promotional Terms and Conditions. The Bank and AlipayHK shall not be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or liabilities incurred in the event of any matter or dispute arising out of or in connection to this Promotional Offer, the decision of the Bank and AlipayHK shall be final and conclusive.
  15. The validity of Eligible Credit Card and eligibility of this Promotional Offer is subject to the Bank (in its sole and absolute discretion) verification and confirmation.
  16. The Promotional offer is only applicable to Eligible Cardmembers whose Eligible Credit Card accounts are determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank to be in good standing and remain valid and not in default during the relevant Promotion Period.

  18. A “single net payment” refers to the final posted net purchase amount made with an eligible same-name HKD Savings or Current Account, or eligible Credit Card Account issued by the Bank (except CNCBI Dual Currency Credit Cards) at Taobao Mobile App in a single transaction on the 11th of each calendar month (00:00am to 23:59pm, Hong Kong Time) during the Promotional Period (based on transaction date). The Promotional Offer may be used in conjunction with red packets, merchant discounts, shopping rewards, etc. on Taobao.com or Tmall.com, subject to the actual payment page which shall prevail.
  5. The amount of single net payment shall be determined based on the real-time exchange rate in the AlipayHK system at the time of the transaction. The “Currency” tool in the AlipayHK App is for reference only.
  6. “Taobao Mobile App” refer to the Taobao or Tmall shopping platform which must be accessed through the Taobao mobile application or Taobao Lite mobile application for the purpose of this Promotion.
  7. During the Promotional Period, each Eligible Customer can only participate once in each calendar month. For the avoidance of doubt, “each Eligible Customer” refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the AlipayHK App and Wallet service, but not merely an AlipayHK App account. To further avoid any dispute, in the following circumstances, the relevant accounts will be deemed to be used by the same customer:
    1. Connection on the same mobile phone or mobile device, such as the logging in or activation of multiple accounts; 
    2. Connection of an AlipayHK App account or mobile number on multiple mobile phones or mobile devices, such as the logging in or activation on such devices; or
    3. The same HKD Savings or Current Account number, or the same Credit Card Account number being connected to multiple AlipayHK App accounts.
    In the case of any of the above, in order to verify the customer’s identity and prevent the risk of theft or misuse of such AlipayHK account, mobile phone number, mobile device or bank account, AlipayHK reserves the right to suspend or terminate the release of any offers to the relevant account and to take legal action.
  8. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotional Offer is not applicable in the following circumstances on Taobao.com or Tmall.com: Tmall Hong Kong order, non-mobile app paying order, Taobao (Xianyu)’s order, virtual goods (including but not limited to anything that does not require shipment such as virtual currency, prepaid cards, etc.), or any other circumstances as specified by Taobao.com or Tmall.com.
  9. A maximum of 3,000 quotas in total are available throughout the Promotional Period. A maximum of 500 quotas are available for each calendar month. Promotional Offers are limited in quantity and on a first-come-first-served basis. The computer record of AlipayHK shall prevail under any circumstances.
  10. AlipayHK, Taobao.com, Tmall.com and the Bank will carry out this Promotion in accordance with applicable laws. If the Promotion cannot be carried out smoothly due to a force majeure event, AlipayHK, Taobao.com, Tmall.com and the Bank cannot be held liable for any damage, loss or dispute therein. A force majeure event is regarded as any government orders, damaging cyberattack, electronic system failure or circumstance beyond the control of AlipayHK, Taobao.com, Tmall.com or the Bank.
  11. The sellers and merchants on Taobao.com or Tmall.com shall take the responsibility of selling procedures and after-sales services. AlipayHK, Taobao.com, Tmall.com and the Bank do not participate in the selling procedures and cannot be held liable for ownership, merchantability, quality, fitness for purpose or availability of the products. Customer should contact the sellers or merchants directly in case of complaints or disputes relating to the products and/or services they offer.
  12. In the event of any fraud and/or abuse committed by any person or any breach of these terms and conditions, the Bank and AlipayHK shall have the sole discretion to forfeit his/her eligibility to the Promotional Offer. The Bank and AlipayHK reserve the right to cancel any transaction and/or take legal action to recover losses from relevant persons in such instances. The Bank further reserves the right to deduct the value of any Promotional Offer from any account in which the Promotional Offer is credited without prior notice.
  13. This Promotional Offer cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with other promotional offers and be exchanged for cash, other products and services or discounts and are not transferable. For goods return or refund, the amount on the Promotional Offer will not be returned and the Promotional Offer will not be re-issued.
  14. The Bank and AlipayHK reserve the right to vary, extend and terminate the above Promotional Offer and to delete, replace, supplement or amend any of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The Bank also reserves the right to delete, replace, supplement or amend the Promotional Terms and Conditions. The Bank and AlipayHK shall not be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or liabilities incurred in the event of any matter or dispute arising out of or in connection to this Promotional Offer, the decision of the Bank and AlipayHK shall be final and conclusive.
  15. Except as otherwise expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, no one other than a party to these Terms and Conditions may enforce any of their terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance, Cap. 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong. Where any clause of these Terms and Conditions entitles any third party to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance, the parties reserve the right to vary that term or any other term of these Terms and Conditions without the consent of that third party.
  16. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and any dispute arising out or in connection therewith shall be referred to the courts of Hong Kong SAR.

  1. Unless otherwise indicated by China CITIC Bank International Limited (the “Bank”), the promotional period is valid from 1 November 2021, 0:00am (Hong Kong Time) to 3 November 2021, 23:59pm (Hong Kong Time) (both dates inclusive) (“Promotional Period”).
