Reminder: To borrow or not to borrow? Borrow only if you can repay!

     

Remarks:

1. New Cardmembers are applicants who do not hold any principal card of CNCBI Credit Card issued by the Bank in the past 12 months from the approval month of the China CITIC Bank International Hong Kong Airlines Mastercard Card applications (the “New Cardmembers”); Existing Cardmembers are applicants who have held any principal card of CNCBI Credit Card issued by the Bank in the past 12 months from the approval month of the Eligible Credit Card applications (the “Existing Cardmembers”), collectively Eligible Cardmembers (the “Eligible Cardmembers”). For the avoidance of doubt, the New Cardmember Welcome Offer and Existing Cardmember Welcome Offer are not applicable to cardmembers who have cancelled any Eligible Credit Card in the past 12 months from the approval month of their current applications for the Eligible Credit Card.
2. The FWC Points will be credited to the Fortune Wings Club membership account according to the Bank's record within 15 working days from the welcome offer redemption day.
3. The points redemption standard is based on Hong Kong Airlines' reward economy class ticket redemption (applicable for tickets issued on/after 1 July 2025) standard as of June 1, 2025, and is subject to Hong Kong Airlines' latest announcements and may change from time to time. Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes, airport construction fees or government fees, fuel surcharges, security fees, insurance fees, and any fees charged by any authorized entity in connection with the use of points-redeemed tickets.
4. The redemption fee will be charged to the China CITIC Bank International Hong Kong Airlines Mastercard within 10 working days from the welcome offer redemption day.
5. If a Cardmember cannot fulfill the related accumulated retail spending amount after welcome offer redemption, the Bank will charge administration fee to the China CITIC Bank International Hong Kong Airlines Mastercard as below within 8 months from card issuance date without prior notice.

6. Includes the basic Bonus Points offered under China CITIC Bank International Hong Kong Airlines Mastercard Rewards Program.
7. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Customer using any CNCBI credit cards (except Business Card) issued by the Bank to make an Eligible Spending of HK$200 equivalent or above will earn one lucky draw chance for each transaction; and two lucky draw chances for each transaction if the Eligible Spending is an Eligible Foreign Currency Spending of HK$200 equivalent or above. For CITICdiamond customers, the chance(s) will be doubled. Eligible spending includes posted retail transactions, online transactions, retail transactions incurred by way of mail/phone order(s) (the “Eligible Spending”). For the avoidance of doubt, transactions which shall not be considered as Eligible Spending include, but not limited to, WeChat Pay/ WeChat Pay HK/ Alipay/ AlipayHK/ PayMe/ FPS transactions, autopay, ATM/ online bill payment (including but without limitation tax, parking, tolls, rent and utilities payment), Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service payment, balance transfers, the monthly repayment amount of Merchant Instalment Plan, repayments of Cash-in Program, Dollar$mart Personal Installment Loan, $mart Plus Installment loan, monthly repayments of Retail Purchase Installment Program, Statement Balance Interest Free Installment Plan, Non-Conventional Interest Free Flexi Installment Plan and Tax Interest Free Flexi Installment Program, handling fees and fees and charges, contribution to any unit trust /monthly investment plan, relevant insurance payment, payments to the Inland Revenue Department, purchase of casino chips, annual fees, finance charges, transaction made via mobile app/ funds transfer and merchant transaction via electronic fund transfer platform/ reload of e-wallets (include but not limited to any transfer made via person to person (P2P) payment services) and any other types of electronic transaction specified by the Bank from time to time, other banking service charges, any unposted/cancelled/ refunded/ invalid/ unauthorized transactions and any other types of transactions specified by the Bank from time to time. Whether a transaction is eligible is subject to the Bank’s (in its sole and absolute discretion) satisfaction and confirmation. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding on Cardmembers. Foreign exchange involves exchange rate risk.
8. The extra lounge voucher will be available at Cardmember's inMotion account and the redemption fee will be deducted from the China CITIC Bank International Hong Kong Airlines Mastercard account within 5 working days after redemption confirmation. If the Cardmember cannot fulfill the related spending requirement during the spending period, an administration fee of HK$300 will be deducted by the Bank from the related Credit Card account for each lounge voucher redeemed within 3 months after the end of the spending period or at the time the Credit Card is terminated, whichever earlier without prior notice.

The turnaround time of each application and approval may vary, China CITIC Bank International Limited reserves the right to request the applicant to submit extra supporting documents for the approval.
