• Maintenance Fee Waiver⁺

  ⁺To enjoy the first-year maintenance fee waiver, the new CITICfirst customer must fulfill any one of the conditions below, effective from 3 April 2018:

  • Aggregate mortgage loan drawdown amount of HK$4,000,000 or above in the Bank; or
  • Aggregate monthly payroll amount in preceding month of HK$/CNY60,000 or above and register the PAYROLLplus Account

  Notes:
  

  1. The first-year maintenance fee waiver is valid from the CITICfirst joining date.
  2. The maintenance fee waiver only applies to personal customer who has not taken up CITICfirst service with the Bank within the 12 months preceding the CITICfirst joining date.
  3. Each customer can enjoy above maintenance fee waiver once only.
  4. Only new and existing mortgage borrower is eligible for above maintenance fee waiver.
  5. New and existing mortgage loan should have an outstanding balance.
  6. Applicable property types include residential, industrial, of¬fice, and shop.
  7. Applicant shall open a HK$/CNY savings account in the single name of the Applicant and register the account as the payroll account for receiving automated payroll payments (“PAYROLLplus Account”). This PAYROLLplus Account is subject to the Bank’s applicable terms and conditions, including the General Terms and Conditions, the Specific Terms and Conditions for Deposit Accounts, as amended, revised or supplemented herein. Automated payroll payments consist of those transactions identified as “auto payroll”, “payroll”, “salary”, “direct credit payroll”, and “wages” (or other similar words) on statements or in passbooks issued by the Bank, while standing instructions set up with the Bank and deposits via CHATS, telegraphic transfer, cash, or cheque are not classified as automated payroll payments. The Applicant shall authorize his/her employer to pay his/her salary (and other related fees, commissions and payments in connection with his/her employment) by making automated payroll payments into his/her payroll account.
  8. The Bank reserves the right to terminate the customer's entitlement to above maintenance fee waiver if he/she fails to drawdown mortgage loan amount of HK$4,000,000 or above in the Bank or do not use the PAYROLLplus Account with monthly payroll amount of HK$/CNY60,000 or above within 3 months upon CITICfirst joining date without prior notice.
  9. The maintenance fee waiver is not applicable to all staff of the Bank.
  10. The Bank reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue above maintenance fee waiver without prior notice and reserves the right of final decision in case of any dispute.
