Example
1. Assuming the transaction amount is HK$500,000 with repayment tenor of 12 months and Monthly Administration Fee of 0.16%, the daily administration fee is only HK$26.67# and the annualized percentage rate is 3.58%^2,3.

2. Assuming the transaction amount is HK$12,000 with repayment tenor of 12 months and Monthly Administration Fee of 0.26%, the daily administration fee is only HK$1.04# and the annualized percentage rate is 5.86%^2,3.

3. Assuming the transaction amount is HK$8,000 with repayment tenor of 12 months and Monthly Administration Fee of 0.32%, the daily administration fee is only HK$0.85# and the annualized percentage rate is 7.24%^2,3.

# Assuming 30 calendar days per month, daily administration fee is only HK$26.67, HK$1.04 and HK$0.85. This example is based on a customer making the full payment of the monthly repayment amount.

Remarks:

1. The Monthly Administration Fee of 0.16% is only appliable for customers who successfully apply for Card Retail Purchase Installment Program with installment amount of Hk$500,000 or above and repayment tenors of 12 or 24 months.

2. For installment amount of HK$500,000 or above with standard Monthly Administration Fee of 0.16%, the APRs are as follows: 3.58% for 12-month installment, 3.71% for 24-month installment. For installment amount of HK$10,000 – HK$499,999 with standard Monthly Administration Fee of 0.26%, the APRs are as follows: 5.86% for 12-month installment, 6.04% for 24-month installment, 6.06% for 36-month installment, 6.05% for 48-month installment, and 6.02% for 60-month installment. For installment amount below HK$10,000 with standard Monthly Administration Fee of 0.32%, the APRs are as follows: 6.75% for 6-month installment, 7.24% for 12-month installment, 7.45% for 24-month installment.

3. The APR is calculated in accordance with the practices and methods set out in the relevant guidelines issued by the Hong Kong Association of Banks. An APR is a reference rate which includes the basic interest rate and other applicable fees and charges expressed as an annualized rate. The personalized monthly administration fee is applicable to selected Cardmembers and is for reference only. The Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to determine the monthly administration fee for individual promotions from time to time.

5. In case of any, Cardmembers should note that early settlement of Credit Card “Retail Purchase Installment Program” incurs a HK$250 handling fee, plus all Monthly Administration Fees and any interest (if applicable) not yet posted to the Credit Card account. Please check with the Bank regarding the total amount to be repaid early and consider the associated fees before deciding whether to choose early repayment.
